Finally wedding preparations started

So, finally after going through a lot of websites, wedding blogs and talking to friends and relatives, I have starting getting some ideas for my wedding decorations. I have written down certain ideas which are in very nascent stage ofcourse. Some of them, I have already discussed with Vish and as usual he agrees with me :-)

Let me scribble them here. I may change them as we go on.

RING
Lets start with the most important one. THE RING. I always wanted a 3 diamond ring even though Vish likes a solitaire but Vish has gladly agreed to buy me a three diamond ring. You wont believe how happy I am. For himself, he wanted a simple yet elegant band. Something like attached photos.






CEREMONY
I want my ceremony in a beautiful park. A lush green park having fountains, rivers, bridges, pathways and a nice free flowing waterfall. Maybe it is too much for asking but Vish has promised he would try his best to arrange that.

FLOWERS
I want my wedding to be black and white with a tinge of pink here and there. I am still thinking about my bouquet, bridesmaid bouquets and for Vish. I will write about it sometime later when I have made up my mind.

CAKE
I have been looking for wedding cakes information in books and internet. And I think I have decided. I always imagined wedding cakes to be tiered, white and with ribbons. I have always wanted a 3 tiered cake. A fresh vanilla cake with strawberry center, white icing with black and pink ribbons. A few flowers matching my bouquet surrounding the cake on the table. Wow, I am getting good at imagining things. :-)

CAKE TABLE
I want a carriage made up of white and hot pink balloons. This carriage will surround the cake table. I am sure, it will look very cute. The cake table itself will have filled up with pink rose petals, thick but small candles around the cake. As I mentioned earlier, cake will be a 3 tiered vanilla cake.





MONOGRAM
I would like to create our monogram myself. Something stylish and elegant. It would have initials of me and Vish on either side and a bigger 'B' (our next common surname) in pink in the center background. I will post the picture of the first one hen I create it. Right now, it is in my mind. I am very excited about doing this myself.

OK, I will put a stop here for now. I am putting too much strain on my mid. So many things are going on in my mid simultaneously. I have though of so many things yet a lot of thing are still pending like dresses for me, Vish and bridesmaids, transportation, favors, my hair styles, guest list etc etc.. The list seems endless. Even though I have 6 months, still I feel I am short of time. I will post more tomorrow or day after.
